THE VERY FIRST LOOM
The story of our company starts from passion. The first generation of the Villa family set up a small textile workshop in their residence in Como buying some old second-hand looms. Thus started a craft production of textiles, especially silk fabrics.
Thanks to the fine quality of the finished product and, of course, to the dedication of the Villa family, the requests increased. The eldest son of the Villa family decided to make significant investments to relocate the family business in an industrial setting. The ultimate goal was to join the most modern and reliable suppliers of the whole fashion industry.

From this union between the two generations rises the present building of Vivatex, located in Colverde (CO).
The brothers Davide and Andrea Villa were born and grew up within this business context, shaped by the experience provided by ancient traditions but always developing a modern culture based on continuous innovation.

Vivatex is well known among the most important textiles markets of the world, especially in Milan, Paris, London, New York and in general among the East Asian countries.
Nowadays, Mr. Carlo, who is still present and active within the business context and who passes down his passion to the employees on a daily basis, represents the dedication of the Villa family.
